Athabasca University (AU) is Canada’s Open University. We are a public university, fully accredited by the Government of Alberta, and reporting to the Government of Alberta through the Ministry of Advanced Education. AU is accredited in the US through the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) and was recently accredited by AACSB. We are a recognized leader in international distance and online education. Athabasca University’s Faculty of Business (AU-FB) offers flexible, dynamic, and relevant business education to learners worldwide. Our open mission allows learners the flexibility to obtain business education by providing internationally recognized, excellent, innovative, challenging, and accessible courses and programs. AU-FB offers a full range of online business and management courses and programs, from university certificates to the Bachelor of Commerce (BComm) and Bachelor of Management (BMgmt) degrees, the Master of Business Administration (MBA), the Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and professional development in leadership and management programs. We offer monthly course registrations for our BComm and BMgmt programs and three annual intakes for the MBA. We launched the world’s first fully interactive online MBA program in 1994 and Canada’s first online DBA program in 2009. In addition, we have long-term, strategic partnerships with CPA Canada, the Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) and the Canadian College of Health Leaders (CCHL), to name a few.
