BHSU College of Business Mission The mission of the College of Business is to drive regional success by educating future business professionals through exceptional teaching, integrated real-world experiences, community engagement, and impactful scholarship. · Our teaching emphasizes analytical decision-making, collaboration, verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and maintaining high ethical standards. · Our integrated experiences focus on addressing regional needs, and the application of business knowledge and technology to solve real-world problems. · Our community engagement encourages students to collaborate with business and civic leaders, expand professional networks, and promote economic development. · Our scholarly activities guide our teaching, emphasize regional applications, and directly impact multiple academic disciplines.

The College of Business and Natural Sciences houses the School of Business which offers undergraduate degrees in Professional Accountancy (150 credits) and Business (120 credits) with specializations in Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurial Studies, Human Resource Management, Management and Marketing. We also offer an MBA degree in Applied Management (30 credits) at our Rapid City location. We offer students the opportunity to learn from the best in a positive and challenging academic environment. Black Hills State University is a masters-level state university with 3,500 students.
