The College of Business and Economics (CBE) at Qassim University was established by Royal Decree on October 1, 1981 (02.12.1401 Hijri) and welcomed its first cohort of students in August 1982. Located on the university’s main campus in Melaida, Qassim. Over the years, CBE has grown significantly and now comprises seven academic departments: • Business Administration • Finance • Accounting • Management Information Systems • Insurance • Economics • Operations Management CBE offers PhD, Master’s, and Bachelor’s programs, several of which hold prestigious national and international accreditations. It is one of the few colleges in Saudi Arabia accredited by the AACSB. Additionally, its Master of Business Administration (MBA) program ranks second in the country according to the QS rankings, while its MSc Finance program holds the top position. Some of its programs are also accredited by the National Commission for Academic Accreditation and Assessment (NCAAA). Moreover, CBE ranks 401 internationally according to the Times Higher Education rankings. Beyond academics, CBE plays a key role in translating academic references in fields such as accounting, business administration, economics, finance, management information systems, and production management. The college is committed to high-quality, market-oriented education aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. It also prioritizes scientific research that addresses national and local challenges, contributing to the sustainable development of society.
