The Eastern Michigan University College of Business (COB) undergraduate programs have maintained AACSB accreditation since 1974 and our graduate programs since 1982. Our mission is to prepare students academically, professionally, and ethically to support the economic development of the Midwest region of the U.S. and beyond. As academic contributors, we develop outstanding business professionals through a rigorous, applied educational experience with a foundation of ethics and civility. Our students, faculty, staff, alumni, volunteers, and family members' activities beyond the classroom benefit the local and global communities. The COB offers 12 undergraduate degree majors, 3 undergraduate certificates, 3 combined undergraduate/MS Degree programs, 8 graduate degrees including an MBA with 8 unique specializations and 13 graduate certificates. The COB is ranked among the nation’s best for 20 consecutive years in the Princeton Review’s listing of top business schools, our MBA program was named among the nation’s best part-time MBA program by Fortune and our graduate program in Entrepreneurship was ranked among the top 50 programs in the nation by Princeton Review and Entrepreneur magazine. Our fully online Integrated Marketing Communication degree program is one of only three Michigan public universities recognized in the U.S. News and World Report best online graduate business program (excluding MBA). All full-time tenure-track faculty hold terminal degrees and we have small class sizes that support a collegiate environment between faculty and students. Our classrooms are equipped with the latest technology and we have many alumni who present and mentor to our students.
