Dear Prospective Student, Greetings and Welcome to the College of Business, Engineering, and Computational & Mathematical Sciences at Frostburg State University! We are proud to share with you our vision to “support the State of Maryland and the broader region through academic, economic, and social progress by educating students, engaging industry, and creating community partnerships.” In alignment with our vision, our mission is to “prepare a diverse student population for successful careers and life-long learning by leveraging technology, incorporating high-impact educational practices, and building purposeful, respectful, and ethical interactions with industry, community, and each other.” Programs offered by the College span a rich array of STEM- and related disciplines, and include business, computer science, engineering, mathematics, recreation and parks management, and sustainable construction management, with several of them offering degrees at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. I am proud that our academic offerings meet the very highest standards of quality. Specifically, our business programs are accredited by AACSB International, the preeminent global organization that accredits business schools worldwide. Likewise, our engineering programs are accredited by ABET, and programs in recreation and parks management are accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions (COAPRT).
