Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) is a key public university under the direct administration of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China. HUST is one of China's leading universities. It is among the first group of universities in the national "Project 211" and "Project 985" and is in the first tier of the national "Double First-Class" Initiative. HUST's School of Management (the School) is one of the oldest management schools in China. It has eight departments including the Department of Supply Chain Management and Systems Engineering, Department of Management Science, Department of Information Management and Data Science, Department of Computational Finance, Department of Human Resource and Organization Science, Department of Marketing, Department of Accounting and Taxation, Department of Innovation Entrepreneurship and Intellectual Property. It offers a full spectrum of programmes, including one undergraduate programmes, two academic master's programmes, three professional master's programmes and one PhD programme. More than 3,000 students are enrolled in these programmes. The School has an excellent faculty with 115 full-time members, including 58 professors, 33 associate professors and 24 assistant professors. Thus, it exhibits great strengths in teaching, scientific research and social services and has advantages in research and talent development.
