IBS, Hyderabad one of the top Business schools in India, was established in 1995 without any financial support from the Government or other agencies. It is a constituent of the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (a Deemed-to-be-university under Section 3 of UGC Act. 1956). IFHE is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council, established by the Ministry of Human Resource Development), the premier quality Assurance agency for Higher Education Institutes in the country, with ‘A++’ grade, the highest grade. It is accredited by AACSB (2020) and SAQS (South Asian Quality Standards), and rated A*** by CRISIL (Standard & Poor company) in 2023, reflecting a very high quality of education. IBS offers high quality programs in different areas of management to a cross section of students, executives and professionals across India. The business school has a diverse student population representing all the states in India.
