IPADE is a private business school within the Universidad Panamericana; it was founded in 1967 by a group of eminent business leaders who saw a need to improve senior management and leadership skills in Mexico but wanted to do this within a context of social and ethical responsibility. To ensure management education coverage and delivery, IPADE offers Senior Management Programs, Focus Programs, In-Company Programs, and two-degree programs; Full-Time MBA and Executive MBA. Following its mission, strategic academic development, and research strategy, IPADE has established five research centers: 1. Centre for Studies on Family Business (CIFEM). 2. Centre for Studies on Women in Senior Management positions (CIMAD). 3. Centre for Philosophy and Management (CIFE). 4. Centre for Business Entrepreneurial Initiative (CIIE), 5. Social Responsibility Research Center (CIRES). IPADE promotes international dialogue and has signed agreements with renowned, equivalent academic institutions in other countries. IPADE is also accredited by AACSB, AMBA, and EQUIS and is a participating member of several international organisms. Fifty-six years after its foundation, the School has over 45,000 graduates from its different programs, which are offered on the permanent campuses, as well as in satellite campuses, national and international, and is classified as one of the best business schools in the world, according to the most important rankings such as Financial Times, Forbes and CNN Expansion.
