With a history of 117 years, Korea University Business School (KUBS) has been a pioneer in business administration education in Korea ever since teaching commerce in the Plutology Department in 1905. As 'The First & The Best,' KUBS boasts the longest history within Korea University and takes great pride in its role as the most significant college. In 2005, KUBS achieved the distinction of being Korea's first AACSB accredited institution for its entire degree program, and it also became the very first institution in Korea to earn EQUIS accreditation. Additionally, in 2015, KUBS was ratified as the exclusive representative business school for Korea by the CEMS Global Alliance. The mission of KUBS is “Business for Society – Inspiring Next Leaders,” while its vision is to be a “World-Class Knowledge Hub in Business.” Operating under this mission and vision, KUBS does not rest on its current glory of “No. 1 in Korea.” Instead, it is committed to continuous dedication towards the goal of becoming a respected business school at the level of “Global Top 30 and Asia No. 1 by 2030.”
