Marquette University is a Catholic Jesuit university founded in 1881. The College of Business was established in 1917 and has been continuously accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) since 1928. The college has a full array of academic opportunities, and students begin taking business classes in their freshman year. Undergraduate programs include Accounting, Business Analytics, Business Economics, Entrepreneurship and Innovation, Finance (includes separate tracks in Applied Investment Management and Banking), Human Resources, International Business (with programs in over 30 countries), Operations and Supply Chain Management (ranked 15th nationally in 2018), Marketing (including a Sales track), Real Estate (ranked 11th nationally in 2018). Graduate programs offered through the Graduate School of Management include the MBA which was ranked 48th among part-time MBA programs (includes a STEM-MBA track), Executive MBA, MS in Accounting (ranked 25th nationally in 2017), MS in Accounting Analytics, MS in Applied Economics and Masters in Management. Several joint programs include MS in Healthcare Technologies Management (with Medical College of Wisconsin); MA in Corporate Communications (with College of Communications) as well as dual degree MBA programs with Political Science, and the Marquette Law School. The college leverages its proximity to downtown Milwaukee to offer numerous internship opportunities that foster the applied learning emphasis of Marquette’s business programs.
