Overview
he School of Business Administration distinguishes itself from business schools at other regional, teaching‐focused universities by focusing on development of business leaders with critical thinking skills and ethical values in a region that has been underserved in the business education area, is in need of economic development, and contains students that are geographically place bound. To achieve this mission, we will focus on: • Enhancing close interaction between faculty and students, with quality teaching that emphasizes academic excellence and student success • Preparing students for in‐demand, 21st century job success in our region and more generally in the global marketplace • Providing students with opportunities to develop entrepreneurial skills • Engaging the business community and region • Sustaining scholarship by all faculty that is impactful and of high quality, particularly applied, integrated and pedagogical research • Offering both online and on‐campus business programs, at the undergraduate and graduate levels .
The Department of Business Administration (BUSA) includes programs in accounting, business administration, finance, management, entrepreneurship, marketing, and information systems. It is also home to our online MBA program.
