Overview
The School’s mission is to serve society and contribute to the common good, educating professionals in the management and creation of economic initiatives, while developing the Business Administration discipline in a context of commitment to academic excellence and a Catholic conception of the individual and society.
The Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (UC) is one of the leading research universities in Chile and Latin America. Within UC, the School of Management (SoM) is one of two academic units of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (FACEA), alongside the Institute of Economics (IE). Since their founding, both units have played a central role in Chile’s economic development. SoM graduates hold key leadership positions in both the public and private sectors, and its strong academic reputation consistently attracts top-ranked students. SoM offers several graduate programmes, including the MBA-UC, Master in Finance, and Master in Innovation (jointly with the School of Engineering). It also offers the Master in Health Administration (with the School of Medicine) and the Master of People Management and Organisational Behaviour (with the School of Psychology). Executive education includes certificates, short courses, and Corporate Governance programmes in collaboration with the School of Law.
