We will create the next generation of students ready to lead, or found, great companies and transform society. The Daniels School of Business prioritizes several foundational pillars: excellence at scale, by increasing enrollments and faculty size, including dream hires; integrating business with technology, capitalizing on Purdue’s strengths in STEM disciplines; transformative learning, allowing students to apply classroom lessons into real-world situations, often in conjunction with corporate partners; and an emphasis on the societal benefits of freedom and capitalism.

In February 2023, Purdue University announced the launch of the Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. School of Business. As technology needs business to change the world, our students will harness communication skills, hands-on learning, and technological excellence to turn new discoveries into societal change. The school will be building a new 164,000-square-foot facility, scheduled to open in 2027, that fits its forward-looking culture and promotes active learning and design thinking.
