Overview

In line with the mission of Saint Xavier University, the Graham GSM of Management educates persons to search for truth, to think critically, to communicate effectively, and to serve wisely and compassionately in support of human dignity and the common good.

Graham School of Management at SXU strives to develop business leaders with personal, professional and service excellence. Students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program in any of our nine highly sought-after major fields (Accounting, Finance, Healthcare Administration, Human Resource Management, Management, Digital Marketing, Hospitality Management, Professional Sales and Supply Chain Management) in our AACSB-accredited business curriculum will develop human, professional and practical skills that help them obtain meaningful employment. GSM offers programs designed to align with Chicago's service economy that are in high demand in the Chicagoland area and beyond. GSM also offers high-quality undergraduate programs in computer science (B.S.) and computer information systems (B.A.). As a Mercy institution of higher education, we believe that human skills, often referred to as soft or critical skills in business, are essential to creating successful business leaders. We recognize that business leaders need to communicate effectively, problem-solve, collaborate, and value inclusion and diversity. We believe learning the human side of business is just as crucial as developing traditional business acumen. GSM is dedicated to preparing students to be career-ready. We work with leading employers such as PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), Baker Tilly, Deloitte, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), National Futures Association, Lettuce Entertain You, Northwestern Mutual, Mercer, and more to ensure that our programming is relevant and helps students find employment opportunities. Despite our relatively small footprint on 103rd Street, I'm confident that you will soon discover the enormous impact the Graham School of Management has in the Chicagoland area. Our small size permits us to be flexible and personal as we work together in helping learners develop into ethical, successful managers and entrepreneurs who contribute to the common good.
