Overview

To integrate academic and experiential learning to develop business talents with an international horizon and undertake business research to contribute to the regional and national economic advancement.

Co-founded by Shanghai University (SHU) and University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in 1994, SILC Business School (SILC) was one of the earliest Sino-foreign joint business schools in China. SILC is located in Jiading district. Jiading is in the northwest part of Shanghai, which was officially set up in 1217 during the Southern Song Dynasty, dating back over 800 years. SILC Business School was recommended by Shanghai Municipal Education Commission as the first experimental unit for accreditation of Sino-foreign joint education, the School became the first Sino-foreign education institute accredited by National Education Assessment Agency in 2006.
