The Edwin L. Cox School of Business is a community of scholars who create and disseminate knowledge through research, teaching, and practice. These activities serve our worldwide constituents, including scholars, students, businesses, and other organizations. We create knowledge through research, scholarship, and corporate engagement that significantly contributes to thought leadership in the fields of study addressed by our faculty. The quality of our research is demonstrated through publication in the leading academic journals in our fields. We disseminate that knowledge through publications, teaching, corporate education, and consulting to engage students, the business community, and government organizations in an effort to prepare responsible world citizens and leaders able to solve complex problems and think on a global scale. We improve the career potential and leadership abilities of our students through rigorous academic programs focused on best practices in contemporary business, innovative ideas, meaningful enrichment activities and impactful corporate partnerships. We assess our ability to create and disseminate unique knowledge of relevance through academic publications, media recognition, corporate and government engagement, and through the success of our students and alumni.
