Overview

MSB VISION: The Bill Munday School of Business at St. Edward’s University will achieve recognition for delivering innovative programs, integrated with the business community, and graduating ethical future business leaders with a global perspective. MSB MISSION : The Bill Munday School of Business delivers an experiential, values-based education anchored in the liberal arts and the Holy Cross traditions of learning and service. The school educates students to excel professionally in the dynamic 21st century business environment by emphasizing creative thinking, critical analysis, global collaboration, lifelong learning, adaptation to change, and ethical behavior. The school promotes relationships on our campus with our global partners and across the rich ecosystem of Austin, focusing on technology, creativity, social enterprise and emerging trends.

The Bill Munday School of Business delivers an impactful education that connects students with the marketplace and prepares them for today’s dynamic business environment. Austin, our home city, drives our model for engagement. Everything we do, from curriculum to research to community events, reflects five pillars in the local business scene: entrepreneurial thinking, social enterprise, innovation management, global collaboration, business analytics. We offer a BBA with ten undergraduate majors in a traditional face to face modality and three fully online graduate programs including an MS in Accounting Analytics, MS in Business Analytics, and MS in Digital Marketing and Analytics along with a flexible MBA that includes online and face to face options. Our small class sizes foster development of personal connections among students and their faculty, an important component of our culture of family in the spirit of our Holy Cross educational mission, and we seek to educate students for a more just world. In each of our degree programs, students gain the skills to think critically and engage locally. And thanks to partnerships we’ve developed in Austin’s business community, students can use the capital city as their laboratory to experience, learn and grow as business professionals. Our students have opportunities to participate in experiential learning through internships and service learning as well as study abroad.
