SUNY Old Westbury educates one of the most diverse student bodies in the SUNY system, with programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management and Marketing. Faculty are encouraged to experiment with varied approaches in transmitting information and ensuring that the classroom is a participatory learning environment. Our goal is to prepare our students to think critically, communicate effectively and act responsibly. SUNY Old Westbury combines aspects that attract people to the New York metropolitan area. Our 604-acre campus is located in the heart of suburban Long Island, just 22 miles from the center of New York City. We provide shuttle service to access public transportation into New York City so students can take advantage one of the world’s most vibrant financial and cultural centers.
