The SUNY Old Westbury School of Business empowers students with a passion for learning to help build, and thrive in, a more just, sustainable world. We are committed to providing a high-quality business education to our students, challenging them to own their futures through an environment that demands academic excellence and fosters intercultural understanding. SUNY Old Westbury educates one of the most diverse student bodies in the SUNY system, with programs in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Management and Marketing. Our faculty draw upon their experience and research to enrich student learning in our classrooms. They place a high emphasis on teaching effectiveness and student accessibility. Faculty are encouraged to experiment with varied approaches in transmitting information and ensuring that the classroom is a participatory learning environment. Our goal is to prepare our students to think critically, communicate effectively and act responsibly. SUNY Old Westbury combines aspects that attract people to the New York metropolitan area. Our 604-acre campus is located in the heart of suburban Long Island, just 22 miles from the center of New York City. We provide shuttle service to access public transportation into New York City so students can take advantage one of the world’s most vibrant financial and cultural centers.
