Overview

The School basic purpose and scope of operations is given by our mission statement as follows: “Our Business School is committed to being a world-class institution, drawing from our faculty teaching skills, their practical experience in the real world, and the insights obtained from their research in order to develop innovative leaders that inspire and transform their communities and society as a whole, by being a model of ethical behavior, critical thinking and effective communication”

During the past 60 years, the School of Business at the University Adolfo Ibáñez has become the most prestigious school of business in Chile and the best in Latin America. Currently we have 5,000 students in our programs, both undergraduate and graduate, and a network of more than 13,000 graduates working in 40 countries. At the IAU Business School we are committed to training future business leaders; subsequently, we deliver to our students a balance of the latest theoretical developments of management science and best business practices. We have a faculty of 73 full-time professors, of whom 52 have a doctoral degree (PhD) from recognized universities, and who are grouped by area: strategy, marketing, finance, economics, operations, people, accounting, innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, and general management.
