The School of Business was established as an autonomous school in 2019 and has been one of the fastest growing business school's in the UK, with much of this growth being driven by expansion at taught-postgraduate level. We have approximately 1500 students spread across research, taught-postgraduate, and undergraduate programmes. Our staff are also diverse, with scholars from around the world adding to the richness of our teaching, research, and community engagement. Our vision is to develop innovative and responsible leaders for a sustainable future. We will do this by delivering an outstanding educational experience, producing high quality research and knowledge exchange, and creating partnerships that stimulate enterprise and innovation through the prism of social responsibility. While relatively young as an independent school, Dundee has a long history of delivering modules and programmes in Economics, Accounting and Finance, and Management and Marketing. In 2021 we celebrated 90 years of Economics teaching and in 2022 we celebrate 50 years of Accounting/Finance education. Our former faculty includes Ronald Coase who began his career with us and went on to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Economics. We are ambitious for our business school. It is well-connected, growing strongly, focused on impactful work and delivering a renewed research culture and outcomes. We have plans for a new building and there are excellent opportunities for collaborative research and programmes with the other schools in the University which are sector-leading in student experience, research and connection into industries including engineering, health, life sciences and pharmaceuticals, creative industries and design. dundee.ac.uk/business
