FEP - FEP's mission is to promote, through teaching and research, the development of knowledge in Economics and Management, to train professionals and responsible citizens capable of responding to the challenges of the economy and the society, and to actively contribute to the progress of its communities. FEP is the School of Economics and Management of the University of Porto, one of the most prestigious Higher Education Institutions in Portugal and Europe, and highly ranked worldwide. Founded in 1953 is a benchmark in education and research in Portugal, distinguishing itself through its ability to innovate and renew its study programmes. FEP offers two bachelor programmes (Economics and Management), sixteen MSc programmes in all relevant fields of Economics and Management - five taught in English - two Executive Masters and two PhD programmes (Economics and Management) also taught in English. FEP has received the AACSB international accreditation and belongs to QTEM (Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management), an international network bringing together outstanding students, Academic Partners and International Corporations. Porto Business School (PBS) was founded in 1988, as a private institution, yet under the authority of the Portuguese Ministry of Education, to offer an MBA. PBS has a unique governance structure that brings together 41 corporations with the University of Porto in a non-profit association, thus ensuring a very close connection between the academia and the business world. The School’s corporate associates are some of the largest Portuguese groups as well as some large and renowned multinationals. The educational portfolio includes programmes in General Management, Strategy, Leadership, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations, and People Management, and includes open enrolment executive programmes (MBAs and long specialized post-graduate programmes, and short specialized certificate programmes), as well as a series of custom-designed programmes and consulting projects for corporate clients and SMEs.
