University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) is a member of China's prestigious C9 League and was ranked No. 3 among Chinese mainland universities in 2017 by Times Higher Education. The School of Management, USTC, is a leading business school in China. The mission of the School is “to generate ideas and tools to enrich management theory and practice, to develop talents and leaders to serve China”. The School’s vision is “to be nationally and internationally recognized as a first-class business school in China, both in research and education”. There are three departments in the School, namely, the Department of Business Administration, the Department of Management Sciences and the Department of Statistics and Finance. Undergraduate, Masters, as well as Doctoral program levels are offered. Research institutes and educational centers affiliated with the school are the Institute of Digital Management, the Institute of Information and Decision Making, the Centre of Statistical Consultation, the Laboratory of E-Commerce, the EMBA Center, the MBA Center and the EDP Center. In addition, Suzhou Institute and Shanghai Institute were also set up to better respond to local demands. Over decades of operation and growth, the School of Management has accumulated rich experiences both in research and education and has been qualified as one of commonly recognized top schools in the society and many kinds of rankings. It was ranked Top 1 in C9 business schools by the number of 159 SCI journal articles in 2016; Top 3 in UTD journal articles in China (2015-2016), and 6th by QS Subject "Business and Management" in China.
